SHIRLEY TEMPLE CUPCAKES
According to Wikipedia, 'the Shirley Temple Cocktail is a non-alcoholic mixed drink made with Lemon-Lime soda, grenadine syrup, and garnished with a maraschino cherry. Shirley Temples are often served to children dining with adults in lieu of real cocktails.
The cocktail may have been invented by a bartender at Chasen's, a restaurant in Beverly Hills, California, in the 1930s to serve to the child actress Shirley Temple.'
INGREDIENTS:
1 Pkg - Cherry Chip Cake Mix
1 C- Cherry 7UP
1/4 C - Grenadine
1/4 C - Vegetable Oil
2 Eggs
Marachino Cherries for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
-Preheat oven to 350*.
-Line muffin pan with cupcake cups.
-Mix all ingredients on low for 30 seconds.
-Mix all ingredients on high for 2 minutes.
- Fill cupcake cups 3/4ths full.
-Bake for 15-20 minutes.
-Let cool.
-Frost with Fluffy White frosting.
-Top with a Marachino Cherry.
-Sprinkle with Red Sprinkles
-Enjoy!!!
