Yarn Wrapped Wreath

Yarn Wrapped Wreath

Celebrate Memorial Day in style with this adorable Red, White and Blue Yarn Wreath.
All you need is a Straw or Styrofoam wreath.
Yarn.
Felt.
Ribbon, and a Hot Glue Gun.
Start with the Wreath. If using a straw one then don't remove the plastic. The Yarn will stick to it and you won't be able to wrap it.

Tie a not with the Yarn around the wreath.
Start wrapping. Be Patient it will take some time. This is the first layer so don't worry if it is not wrapped all the way the first time around.
First layer of wrapping. There are some holes, which will be covered by the second layer.

Second layer all fully wrapped.

Now you can wrap some criss crosses on the first layer for decoration.

You then want to make your felt flowers. And glue them onto your felt wreath.
And there you go you have a beautiful wreath that is very easy to make.
Just tie your ribbon on for hanging and it looks great.

This wreath took some time to make. Wrapping the wreath is time consuming, but after you get it going then it looks great. Are you curious about how to make those beautiful felt roses and flowers? Check back for a tutorial for the felt flowers, coming soon. I was so excited how easy it was and how well it turned out that now I want to make a wreath for every Holiday. Happy crafting.

XOXO-
